2008 "Hope & Inspiration: Surviving Mothers of Breast Cancer" Calendar by Alisa Murray
"Hope & Inspiration: Surviving Mothers of Breast Cancer" 2008 calendar is the fifth of its kind by renowned Houston photographer Alisa Murray. Featuring photos and advice from twelve Houston-area breast cancer survivors who are also moms, this calendar is a tribute to survival and mothers' love. After tragically losing her mom as a young child, Alisa Murray holds the mother/child relationship near to her heart, and dedicates the calendar to her mother, Lona Ann Batten Evans. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of this calendar benefits the Young Survival Coalition, in the hopes that in the future, no child will lose their mother to breast cancer.
